Jeff Jacobs
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Jeff is responsible for the Global Information Technology strategy at OCLC. He is in charge of all of the cooperatives’ IT assets that support both members and staff. He helps drive strategic company priorities, spanning the United States, Canada, and 11 countries in Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand. This includes worldwide application development, the cooperative’s private cloud, IT security, data management, technology infrastructure, telecommunication networks and data center operations.
Jeff is the recipient of Computerworld's 2015 Premier 100 IT Leaders award. His career spans more than two decades with global Fortune 100 companies in industries including financial services, medical and pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, packaged goods, and products and services for the nonprofits communities. Prior to joining OCLC, Jeff was Chief Technology Officer at JPMorgan Chase, and also held the titles of Senior Vice President and Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase, where he was responsible for leading the company’s enterprise-wide digital information systems initiatives.
