Karen Hinton

Karen works with delegates worldwide to support OCLC governance and reflect local and regional views of the issues facing libraries today. She joined OCLC in 2016 to lead the Instructional Design and Training team within Member Education.  Prior to her work with OCLC, Karen led Customer Experience and Training teams for ProQuest and Cambridge Scientific Abstracts and has served as an accessibility advocate and an avid supporter of library and information science education programs throughout her career. A product of public schools, Karen studied philosophy and film theory at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she also earned a Masters in Library and Information Science.
