Mike Showalter

Executive Director, End-User Services

Mike leads product management for the company's discovery products. Prior to coming to OCLC, he was Product Manager for Plum Analytics, where he helped pioneer the development of new ways to measure the impact of scholarly research. He previously spent six years over two stints at ProQuest's Serials Solutions business unit, ending his time there as Director of Product Management for Discovery. Mike received a BA in History from San Jose State University in 1988, and then earned his Master of Librarianship from the University of Washington's Graduate School of Library and Information Science in 1992. He currently serves on the advisory board for the University of Washington iSchool.
